    Awesome Vintage German HUBERTUS Traditional "Buck Catcher" Hunting Sword / Knife
    Hand made and extremely well crafted by famous maker HUBERTUS of Solingen, Germany, this beautiful vintage knife features a masterfully engraved hand made C45 carbon steel blade and an incredibly ornate stag horn handle with a shell blade guard and acorn guard finials. The knife is in very good condition and comes with its original leather sheath. Has been part of a collection for decades and never been used.
    The German "buck catcher" has been part of traditional hunting gear for centuries and was mostly worn by aristocrats for big game hunting. Later it became part of traditional hunting attire mostly used for representative purposes.
    This great knife measures 14.5" in overall length with a blade length of 10.25".
